Tasks
I contribute with downscaled climate predictions to improve the managing of living marine resources along the Norwegian coast and offshore areas. I am also involved in improving understanding of the mechanisms relating physical climate variables to living marine resources. Finally, I assess management needs through communication between climate scientists and fishery management.

What are you most excited about with this project?
Being the link between the exciting fields of climate prediction and marine research in order to contribute to the sustainable management of our marine areas.

What do you see as your biggest challenge for now?
To finish the setup and evaluation of a new regional model to be used in downscaling of climate predictions for the North Atlantic and Arctic regions.
